Special Education

The Tyngsborough Public Schools strive to develop programs and opportunities for students to access the curriculum while learning in the least restrictive environment in the spirit of IDEA-2004.  In a fully inclusive, safe environment that embraces diversity and the dignity of the individual, educators in partnership with students and parents work to develop a full continuum of services, providing comprehensive education programs for students with special needs.

Parents of students who receive Special Education services are encouraged to participate in the Special Education Parent Advisory Council (PAC). The mission of the Tyngsborough Special Education Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is to work towards the understanding, respect, support, and appropriate education for all children with special needs in our community.
